  • David Hardy

    David Hardy – Co-Founder & Senior Partner
    Helping companies grow through technology and commercial finance solutions for over two decades.

    For more than 20 years, David Hardy has helped businesses achieve meaningful growth by combining technology-led strategies with innovative commercial finance solutions. With deep expertise in B2B sales, structured finance, and CRM deployment, David brings a practical and results-driven approach to solving complex commercial challenges.

    As Co-Founder and Senior Partner at Last Mile Solutions, David leads on strategy and client engagement, working closely with businesses to unlock growth through tailored funding structures, sales automation, and market-focused planning. He co-founded the consultancy in early 2025, bringing his extensive experience to clients across the finance and dealership sectors.

    Previously, David was Commercial Director at EMTAC IPM SPV Group (2019–2024), where he played a leading role in building a substantial finance portfolio, which was acquired by Add Working Capital in June 2024. Following the acquisition, he was appointed Sales Director at Add Working Capital, overseeing a smooth transition and continuing to drive portfolio performance until January 2025.

    At EMTAC, David designed and implemented high-impact commercial sales strategies, secured valuable stock finance partnerships with leading dealerships and manufacturers, and deployed significant funding through SPV investment vehicles — enhancing both market share and client outcomes.

    Earlier roles include serving as Commercial Director at DF Capital Bank (2016–2018), where he led the UK commercial strategy from pre-launch and secured multi-million-pound credit lines. Prior to that, at GE Capital Bank (2006–2013), David managed major manufacturer finance programmes across Europe, consistently delivering above-target performance even during global downturns.

    David is known for his ability to structure and close complex, high-value deals, lead commercial teams, and implement scalable CRM systems such as HubSpot and Podio. His career has been defined by a clear focus: helping clients grow through clarity, finance, and technology.

    For more than 20 years, Damian Hackett has driven transformative growth in the sports and media industries through strategic market development, team building, and high-impact commercial initiatives. With proven expertise in scaling operations and fostering global partnerships, Damian brings a dynamic and results-oriented approach to business transformation challenges.


    As a strategic leader, Damian led Orbea's remarkable market transformation in the UK and Ireland, achieving top tier brand status from relative obscurity across his eleven year tenure at the brand. His business strategies, many adopted globally, strengthened Orbea's market position worldwide and contributed to their "Bike Brand of the Year" award in 2021.

    Damian has consulted at government-level, including advising the, then Irish Deputy Prime Minister on cycle and rambling access legislation. He has presented advisory papers at EU level related to the evolving single market legislation and the impact it would have at EU level. His ability to forge partnerships with national and international bodies has been consistently demonstrated throughout his career.

    Damian founded Ireland's first adventure sports media business and organized major events including the Irish Outdoor Adventure Show and hosted the European Advertising Awards. He had a senior consulting role in the development of Ireland's first official Mountain Bike Trail Centres, and was responsible for developing comprehensive tourism strategies and infrastructure integration plans for official bodies.

    Damian excels in developing risk-reducing finance programs to suite the demands of the customer, reflecting his commitment to best practices and operational excellence. His leadership philosophy centers on creating clear goals, ensuring accountability, and fostering collaboration across departments.


    Damian's career has been defined by a singular focus: transforming organizations through strategic vision, commercial realignment, and stakeholder engagement to achieve sustainable growth and industry validation.
